is stamped on the tube behind the driver's seat.

• My battery is dead, how do I charge it?
Hook up a low amp trickle charger and charge the battery until it is fully charged.
• I cannot get it to crank.
Check for gas. Check for any lose wires. Check for spark at the plug. Click
here to see the Wiring Diagram. If it does not help, and you have been through the trouble shooting chart in your owner's manual, give us a call at 1-877-855-0196.
• When it cranks, it only runs for a few seconds, then shuts off.
This could be normal, it is priming the choke circuit. Give it another try.
• When it cranks, it only stays running if I am wide open.
Most likely a flooding condition, the Kart will need to be serviced, call at 1-877-855-0196 and we will help you locate a service center in your area.
• It always wants to go because it idles high.
Adjust down the idle screw on the carburetor. Idle speed is around 1700 rpm's when warm.
• The headlights don't work.
Check for loose connections, check bulb.
• My brakes don't work when I press the pedal.
Check for worn
pads. Check for debris on pads, rotor clipper,
etc... Check brake fluid, check brake linkage.
Check brake pads, brakes may need bleeding.
• I smell gas when I ride.
Check for gas leakage at gas cap, petcock, fuel line and carburetor. Do not crank with leaking gas present.
• What kind of oil should I use?
SF-SG SAE 10W40 motor oil.
• What kind of gas should I use?
The higher octane used, the better service you can expect.
• Can I ride the Crossfire on pavement or on a side walk?
This vehicle is designed for off-road use only.
• I ran through some water and it will not run now.
Dry out the engine, electrical components and air box. Try and restart.
• Is it OK to wash the engine?
Stay away from the electrical box, air filter inlet, and fan shroud opening.
• My seat will not adjust.
There is debris and/or sand or dust. Clean and lube seat slides, try again. The passenger seat is not adjustable.
• My tire keeps going flat.
Check valve core, or for damaged valve stem. Inflate tire and soak in soapy water. It is a tubeless tire, if a leak is located, it can be plugged.
• Can I adjust something to make it go faster?
No.
• I lost my keys.
We do not have replacement keys, the ignition switch assembly must be replaced.
• Does it need transmission fluid?
Gear lube: SAE 80W-90.
• How do I put in transmission fluid?
Refer to your owner's manual for the procedure. You can view and download it
here.
• I put in too much oil, what to do?
Drain out the excess oil through the oil drain. Check your dipstick again later.
• What areas should I keep oiled and lubed?
Cables, steering shaft, chain, seat adjuster.
• How long will my brakes last?
This will depend on driving conditions, check for wear on a regular basis.
• How much weight can I tow?
This vehicle is not designed to tow.
• What is the weight capacity of the Go-kart?
The maximum combined weight for driver and passenger is 400 pounds.
• How old should an operator be to drive the Kart?
Recommended minimum age is 16 years.
• My seatbelt will not latch.
Inspect for debris and clean as needed. If this does not remedy the situation, replace the seat belt.
• Should I wear a helmet when I drive the Crossfire?
Yes, at all times. Read requirements in your owner's manual.
• There is water in my gas tank, or I think I put oil in my gas tank.
The entire fuel system needs to be drained and cleaned.
• My engine backfires a lot when I am riding.
It could be fouled spark plugs, loose wire connections, valves out of adjustment, or the carburetor float out of adjustment.
• Is my engine four stroke or two stroke, and who makes it?
The engine is a HowHit four stroke.
• How much horsepower does the 150R have?
10.2 HP
• How often should I change the oil?
Change the oil initially after the first 5 hours of use. Then every 30 hours.
• How often should I change my spark plugs?
When plugs become fouled, or stop firing, or when periodic maintenance calls for it.

• How do I put the chain back on?
Loosen the chain adjustment assembly on the back of the engine. You may have to remove the chain guard. Adjust to correct tension and retighten.
• My exhaust is loose.
Check manifold bolts or hanger bolt on left side cover. Tighten as needed.
• It idles real rough.
Things to check: fouled plug, contaminated fuel, loose wire connections, valve clearance.
• It is real hard to crank.
Things to check: fouled plug, electric choke valve bad, choke circuit closed off.
• Will the brush guard protect me if I roll over?
This is not rollover protection. Avoid riding across slopes or turning sharply at excessive speeds. Always wear safety restraints and protective gear such as helmets and gloves. In case of rollover, keep hands and arms inside of Kart.
